Hey all, Patreon is in the process of adding the ability for yearly subscriptions. I know this because earlier in the week it was ‘turned on’ for me. Though I haven’t implemented it yet I was wondering if we will be getting the ability to distinguish a yearly subscriber in a tier versus a normal subscriber.

It’s not a huge thing at the moment but I can see giving rewards to those who effectively drop a lot of money all at once.

Currently the api does not have the info to allow WP plugin and other apps to distinguish in between yearly subscribers and others. Until it is added, it is unlikely to be possible.
