# Api endpoint to get latest posts from followed creators / feed

Title. I’ve found an endpoint that is used by the official android app, but it is V1, and I can’t find a similar feature in v2

Hi! There is no public api to list available posts / feed for patrons. Official android and iOS clients use internal apis which should not be used by 3rd parties - the endpoints may change and requests could get blocked by Patreon security rules.

I see, thank you.  
To what degree should the undocumented APIs not be used ? Is there an official statement about that somewhere ? What about reasonable use ? To be clear, I’m aiming to create a foss patreon client for android

I would advise against any usage - there have been cases when 3rd party apps suddenly break because of security rules or changes to the non public APIs. There is no guarantee how long they would be supported for and if they would reliably work for non official clients.

Alright, well for now it’s more of a personal project than anything else so if I don’t maintain it, it’s only logical if it ends up breaking. Thanks for the clarifications again.

Btw, is it planned for the v2 api to get those missing abilities ?
