# Campaign members list with their social\_connections

Hi,

Until couple weeks, I could retrieve the patrons from my campaign with their Discord ID (by accessing [‘social\_connections’][‘discord’][‘user\_id’] on each members) but now, the field “discord” in “social\_connections” is null.

The URL I’m using is

`https://www.patreon.com/api/oauth2/v2/campaigns/my_campaign_ID/members?include=user&fields%5Buser%5D=social_connections,image_url`

Why the “discord” field inside “social\_connections” is always null now?

Make sure that you connected Patreon’s official Discord integration and added Discord as a benefit to the tier that you are going to check the user ids for.

Thank you for your answer. Is there a way we can work without Patreon’s official Discord integration?  
It worked in the past, does it become mandatory now?

Its mandatory to check the users’ Discord ids now. You dont necessarily have to use it though. You can connect it, add it as a benefit to the tier that you will check the discord ids for. Then just keep using your own integration alongside it.
