# Cannot Connect Patreon Plugin to my Wordpress site

I cannot connect my Patreon plugin to my wordpress site. The wizard is not working.

WP 6.0.2 with PHP 8.0.17  
Patreon WordPress 1.8.5 with API v2

Try contacting your host and making sure that your host does not have any security measures that prevent outgoing calls from your site to Patreon API.

Also make sure that a security plugin does not do the same.
