Warnings should not be enabled for production sites. This warning should not cause any issue with your site’s operation. You can just disable warnings and go through post setup again. ---

I disabled warnings but still cant complete the set up as it still says: > **Post type and category for synced posts** > > Set which post type and category/taxonomy will be used for synced posts. > > There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. There are no drop downs or anything to select and its clear it hasnt completed what its doing so how can i simply start a fresh I tried to uninstall that didnt work as it didnt allow me to run the wizard. ---

Arent there any categories in your WP site? ---

yes there are 7 catagories I removed all the database entries which allowed me to start again and the error is now gone I have no idea what was causing the error but at least its now gone. ---

Then there was probably a problem with categories at your WP site. That dropdown should come in empty only when categories are not present or categories cannot be acquired.
