There is a situation with creator access tokens refreshing unexpectedly as explained earlier, but it shouldnt happen for user accounts which authorize your app. If that happens, let me know.
Implementing refreshes for user tokens helps greatly. But its not a must. You can just put the user into authorization flow through unlock buttons in your content or login page if the token is refreshed. The better way is having both - auto refreshes and putting users into the flow if the token is expired.
