# Unlock "hide" section with patreon login

Hey guys!  
First at all im a newbie developer regarding web app, using API, etc so i have some doubts.

With a friend we have a phpbb forum and we want to add a hide section only to patreons.  
The questions are

- what we consider to use the API to do that?
- first they must be logged with patreon login, isnt? And if they arent logged the unified flow will ask to log in, isnt?

Again im a newbie developer so any help is welcome!

You will need to have patrons login via Patreon and check whether they have patron status in order to do such things.

PHP lib already has examples for those, and you can use it to create an easy integration with phpBB.
