Comments Disabled For Non-Patrons on wordpress?

Hello,

I have the Patreon plugin installed on my site and the comments at the bottom of each post aren’t there, for people that are non-patrons I believe. I installed a comments plugin to test that out too and that didn’t get comments to show up.

With the plugin, do people have to be Patrons in order to see the comments and be able to leave one? Or is there someway to have it so comments are available to both patrons and non patrons on the site, so anyone that visits a blog post can comment.

If your theme is applying the_content filter also to the comments, then this could happen. Try temporarily switching to a different theme to confirm that its not the theme.
