I no longer work at Patreon and therefor unable to say if this no longer a problem.
When I left, I made the fix by setting the creator token expiry to the year 2300. If there’s another new issue that is causing creator tokens to expire I would not be aware of it.

Thanks for your response, Jeffery, however that’s just not an acceptable solution because I cannot programmatically enter the token into my administration interface because it’s only accessible via the web. No other major service, such as GitHub, has expiring tokens because they do not improve security in any way.

Maybe the way is to put refreshed token in your admin interface with some script which emulate login.

Do the creator tokens still expire? I have new functionality I wish to push, but don’t want to wait two weeks to see if it’s going to “randomly” stop working due to creator token expiry.

Regardless of creator tokens expiring or not, do set up a logic to refresh your creator token every few weeks.
