One more here to support this option. I have a huge amount of posts and it’s taking me forever to do that using Patreon directly.
We desperately need the option to automate posting on Patreon and therefor need an API. Also the UI of the posting process needs an update. Its so complicated to just find all the right settings. The access options should be hooked to the selected collection/group. Please @patreon-eng do something about this

+1. If not an API, at the very least we should be able to create our own re-usable post templates. If you’re the type of creator who regularly posts content with specific formats, it becomes very tedious to have to copy and paste a previous post every time you want to share anything with that format.
+1 on the API. I’m currently using the API to fetch the addresses to send a daily newsletter (which is the core product they subscribe to) to a select set of Patrons via email. I’d also like to actually post it for them on Patreon as well if they want to come back to it.
I’ve been asking for this for at least 2 years and got told directly by Patreon support that they have absolutely no attention to ever allow API posting.
For my particular community, this would be a godsend because I do a lot of data analysis and being able to have it would allow me to actually post my data as soon as it’s completed.
I’m even all too happy to have it simply saved as a draft and then I have to manually approve the draft before it goes live. This would actually be my preferred methodology so I can correct any formatting errors before it does go live.
