I’m new here, and I’m on a journey to build a browser extension to organize a subscriber’s downloaded files from their purchases according to a user-defined naming and storage scheme to reduce repetitive motion strain when they excitedly try to download all the new goodies they are entitled to. I frequently subscribe to other artists’ Patreons to access their product offerings, such as 3D environments, clothing, props, or figures. One of the more crucial details of these offerings is keeping track of who made them and where they came from, so I can ensure I have proper licensing and support contacts, as I largely use these assets to “kit-bash” my own stories. Unfortunately, vendors often name their products something uninspired like “Tanktop.zip,” which is totally fine if I nest that zip in a folder with their name on it or rename the file accordingly. Still, as a patron of theirs, I will often need to repeat this process dozens, if not hundreds, of times, which can cause repetitive motion strain. To resolve this, I’d like to build and eventually publish to the appropriate locations a browser extension that reduces that repetitive strain by downloading the attached product zip to a prescribed (by the user) folder structure in their downloads folder with a single click per product.
I have a working prototype at the moment and a request out to the partner support email to confirm I’m on the right side of permissible integrations. Assuming that comes back clear, I will publish this extension publicly for free as a way to give back to the creator community. I hope this is a win-win for patrons and creators alike.

It’s an early conceptual layout, but I believe this could be a strong value-add for 3D artists, comic lovers, and other patrons who receive downloadable assets as part of their patronage.
Let me know your thoughts on any of the above. I’d love to hear more about what problems could be solved for creators or patrons alike.
