Patron with null email on the API

Our Discourse Patreon integration just broke for a customer because since Feb 6th a single patreon is returning with a nil email on the Pledges API endpoint.

Isn’t this attribute mandatory? Is this a bug in the API ?

If the user did not verify his/her email at Patreon, the email wont be returned.

Is this a new possibility? We have this integration working for years on many different customers, with some having many thousands of patrons and this is the first time this happens.

This was the case since the inception of the api, so much that WP plugin was made to accommodate it ~3 years ago by not importing emails for users who were not verified. So, its not new.
