PHP API currently_entitled_tiers

I’m unable to find any documentation for PHP and how to add scopes.
I see that the scope campaigns.members is needed to access currently_entitled_tiers, but I don’t see any way to define scopes using the Patreon API Library, or any examples of how to accomplish this in PHP.

Thank you for any guidance you can give.
