How to know user is a free member?

Before there was the is_follower field but this doesn’t seem to work now for the free members.

If a user was a patron, canceled, and is now a free member, how can I tell that when they became a free member and if they are a free member?

Oh I see, the free members are subscribed to a separate “free” reward tier.

So then:

  1. Are followers automatically getting converted to free members now?
  2. And also potential bug: it looks like patron_count for this free reward tier is not getting updated yet. Just FYI.

Yes followers are free members now.
