All of that is automatic. If the user loses access at patreon.com, the next time he or she attempts to get access to locked content he would be denied automatically. You dont need to confirm anything in particular.
The only times when there are problems would be if a caching plugin or server side caching interferes and shows an unlocked stale page to an ex-patron without refreshing the page from the latest state.
