Become-Patron endpoint always ask for membership

When a Patron clicks the Login with Patreon button, they login to Patreon and are immediately brought to a signup page for the minimum pledge level for the page they are on. This happens even if the Patron is already a member at a higher level.

Is the pledge level asked at the pledge page different than for how much you locked your content? What happens if the user pledges?

The pledge level asked is the same as the amount associated with the locked content. After they pledge, the content is unlocked. If they log out of Patreon, they are asked to pledge again (for $0 net charge) to see the content.
