I understand that when they login through Patreon it creates a user that I see in my dashboard. However some of my users just can’t seem to get passed the error pages and “loop” of unlock>patreon>unlock, and I’m wondering if I just can go in and create the user profile myself and link their patreon account manually, if it will work as the plugin intended. My users are getting mad and cancelling their pledges so I’m trying to think of a quicker way to deal with this without losing more money.
Since you wouldnt be able to log into someone else’s Patreon account in order to give your site permissions to that account, no.
Instead, concentrating on the ‘unlock loop’ issue and trying to debug it would do more to solve this.
