When a post is locked by the plugin, its adds the text “Already a qualifying Patreon member? Refresh to access this content.” even when a person has never before logged into the website. This is causing somewhat regular confusion for my new users, because they think they have to refresh the webpage instead of click the link.
I tend to agree with them that the text on the page is not as clear as it could be. In the context of a website, the word “refresh” is ambiguous.
Would you please consider changing the linked part of the sentence to be more than just “Refresh”. Perhaps change it to something like “Refresh link with Patreon” or “Refresh access”?
I think changing the sentence from “Refresh to access this content.” to “Refresh access to see this content.” would be the best solution.
The confusion is also due to the fact that the button reads “Unlock with Patreon”. Which would make sense if the user is logged in with Patreon but not at the proper tier, but for users that aren’t logged in reads like the button wouldn’t work them.
