"Patrons Only" posts are "unlocked"

My posts are labeled “unlocked” even though I specified “Patrons Only.” So posts are available to the public no matter what I do. Is it a premium feature to be able to restrict access? What am I missing?

This could mean that your site’s connection to Patreon was lost, and therefore posts were made accessible.

Try reconnecting your site via ‘Patreon settings’ -> ‘Reconnect’. If it fails with an error, click ‘Disconnect’ in earlier page and delete the app that exists at Patreon apps page.

Then you can connect your site to Patreon using the ‘Connect’ button in the same ‘Patreon Settings’ menu as earlier.

Thank you so much for your help!
I did find that my phone app was not updated to the changed password so maybe that is how I lost connection? I could not find a "Reconnect’ option in either place but I can unpublish. Is that the same thing? Also I wonder if the posts are unlocked under “Patrons Only” because I have no patrons?

Ah, i think there has been a misunderstanding on my part - i assumed you were talking about your WordPress site. But you seem to be talking about your Patreon page at Patreon.com.

That is an issue which you must talk to Patreon’s support at https://patreon.zendesk.com or Patreon’s discord at https://discordapp.com/channels/501792035657744425/519643223786913793

Oh! Thanks for cleaning that up
